| A-Rod traded to Yankees |
| 02.16.04 (4:54 pm) [edit] |
I am not a fan of either the Texas Rangers or the New York Yankees. In fact, I cheer for whoever the Yankees are playing. It is now official. Alex Rodriguez has been traded to the Yankees in exchange for Alfonso Soriano and a player to be named later. The Rangers wanna get rid of that expensive check they've been cutting to A-Rod and get a young talented athlete in return. I highly doubt that the Yankees will give up a top prospect as the "player to be named later." At least the Rangers get Soriano. Guess what? They're still not gonna win the AL West, they won't win the wild card, and they'll still be watching the playoffs from home, just like the sorry ass Tigers.
For those who might be guessing my team...it's the San Diego Padres. Don't hate. Playoffs in 2004. The new stadium is in affect. Petco Park is open and ready to house the reborn NL West power. Give 'em time. You'll see the wins come. Hopefully David Wells will stay sober enough to get 15 wins this season.
