Who said Bingo was for senior citizen women? Last night one of the student groups (PAAC) put on a "Bingo Night" for prizes varying from food, drinks, candy, DVD players, to the grand prize of a printer/copier/scanner. To win the grand prize you put tickets into a bucket for a drawing at the end of the night. I didn't stick around for the final drawing because attendance wasn't necessary. Plus my name and number was on the ticket. I'm not statistical genious but I'm sure one ticket out of the hundreds that were in there wasn't gonna be my name. Especially when some people had about 20 tickets in there. Oh well, I won some Oreos. The night was almost over and I was being bitter and telling Stacy that I had to win something to make my hours of sitting, standing, and leaning worth while. The last game was worth double food until all the food was gone. I won and got to pick 6 items. The only things left were plain M & Ms, Oreos, Grandma's Peanut Butter cookies and some other nasty thing. I hooked B Vaughan and Paul up with some Grandma's cookies and took 4 little packs of Oreos for myself. It was a good time. Shoulda been therrre. |
