It's been too long
09.14.06 (8:10 pm)   [edit]

I used to write a lot more back in the day. Lets see where I should start. It's been a little over a month since my last post. For those of you that are not in the know, I'm coaching running backs at Coe College. We are 2-0 this season. Congrats to my Rams for starting off the season 2-0 as well. I wish they ran the ball 754 times a game when I was there. Coaching college football is time consuming. It doesn't help that I have a full time job on top of that. Since I didn't go to Coe, I don't have a lot of Kohawk attire to wear to practice. I ocassionally wear my Cornell stuff. The head coaches wife jokingly harasses me. I think if I wear another Cornell shirt, she might stab me. I have to space out the weeks I wear Cornell stuff.

This doesn't leave me a lot of time for a social life during the week. I try to sneak in some Ricky time every now and then. Cedar Rapids just got a Dick's Sporting Goods near my apartment. I'm down with that shiz. I went there and bought a tennis racket and some tennis balls. Which one of you sorry saps wants to challenge the non-skilled, amateur champion of Linn County? I played one of my co-workers last week and put him in his place. We're both pretty competitive and I take joy in winning. I'm always looking for opponents. Cozzi, I want a rematch.

After I bought my bike, I got the urge to do triathlons. I don't have a bike built for one but I'm just doing it for fun so I could use a girls' Huffy and still have fun. So far, Marie has decided to go in with me. We're gonna do at least one in 2007. If you're still in the area, HOLLA. For those who can't understand, I would like you to contact one of us if you are interested in joining us. "Focker out!"
