One crazy weekend
09.12.04 (10:22 pm)   [edit]

So we got Saturday night started off with a thud. We lost to Iowa Wesleyan in our last non-conference game. It left a pretty shitty taste in our mouth but we eventually got over it. That taste was replaced with post game pizza since we didn't have time to go sit down in a buffet like we normally do. But that's not the good story.

The good stuff happened once the drinking started. We got home at about 11:40 so there wasn't much prep time before we headed downtown to the bars. We had enough time to slam 2-3 beers of choice. The key to our Saturday night was Eich remembering to charge the battery for his video camera. Bonus points for Eich's memory. The roommates and I decided to have some people (a bunch of people) over for after hours at our apartment. This is one of those classical "you should have been there" stories. If you weren't there, we got it on tape. The film was masterfully narrated by none other than Zousel himself. That's "Z Banger" for all you West Branch groupies.

There is all sorts of stuff we got on tape. There was family feud with a volleyball, famous impressions, regular drunkard stuff that drunk people do (especially Stanton), etc. It's a family film that all can enjoy. I think Zousel ended it perfectly as he loudly and drunkenly yelled, "SHIT!!!" as he ran into the picnic bench on his way to fool around with the "satellites" (solar panels). YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE! Stop by to see the tape.

Quote of the week hands down is: "That ain't right...that ain't right......that ain't wrong" by Zousel
