Eventful Wednesday
04.15.04 (2:55 am)   [edit]
Well, today we managed to lose both games in a double header. We are now one step above the lowest team in the conference. That is not brisk. I think I raised my batting average by one point. Big wow! We lost to Luther and they aren't even that good which really licks balls. At least Wednesday is Chappelle's Show day. That really brought the day back up. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I recommend you turn to Comedy Central and watch the show on Wednesdays at 10:30/9:30 Central.

Tonight is also the hour (11pm to 12am) in which "Stir It up Radio" is on 89.7 FM KRNL. Tonight's topic wasn't the best tonight but it kills time and makes me laugh. Later on, after midnight, somehow 6 of us ended up in Halac's room to shoot the shit. There were numerous areas discussed. We went through two bags of tortilla chips and a big jar of salsa con queso. I decided to pick up the bag of gumballs and was promptly challenged to fit 32 of them into my mouth without spitting any out or throwing up. I faced the challenge and somehow chewed them all into a manageable size. I'm still chewing right now. It's 2:50 am and I think I should finish this homework.

There's a lot going on and a little going on at the same time. That makes no sense, but whatever. "I do what I want!" Over my spring break in Mt. Vernon, IA I got most of my website re-done. I think it looks cool even though I have a biased opinion. Check it out and let me know what you think. Today is the first day of Block 8. That means only two more classes until it's summer time. And a couple months before Mt. Vernon's economy slows down. Gotta love the college kids.

Major League Baseball is finally here. I was glad to see John Kruk and Harold Reynolds pick the San Diego Padres as the their winners of this season's NL west on ESPN's Baseball Tonight. With the new uniforms and the new park, they gotta have a huge turn around from last year. Hey Cubs fans, the Cubbies will blow it in the playoffs... if they even get there. So prepare yourselves now.
